The definition of a habitat is the natural environment of an organism in which they can comfortably live life and grow. What does the word 'Interdependence' mean?

The definition of interdependence is the quality/condition of being  mutually reliant on each other:

Interdependence occurs in a habitat is when 2 or more organisms that live in that specific habitat are mutually reliant on each other, so both organisms get something in return from each other and if one of the organisms didn't exist then the other organism may pass away or resort to unsafe behavior.

An example of this is the relationship of termites and flagellates. Termites feed on wood and other tough plant materials. But, since they lack the digestive enzymes to digest these materials themselves the flagellates that live inside them digest it for them.
